Torchbearer Zombie Apocalypse Hot Sauce is ook bekend van de YouTube-serie Hot Ones. In seizoen 3 & 4 zat deze saus op hot wing #7 (van de 10).

Vrij pittig, best wel een burn maar niet ondragelijk.
Zeer lekker van smaak door de wortel en mandarijn.
Niet voor de beginner maar als je van pittig houdt is dit een hele lekkere saus.

It´s incredibly tasty and has a nice hot touch. Not too hot, though.
You can literally put it on EVERYTHING! I even take the occasional sip from the bottle.
My favourite Hot Sauce right now.

In a certain way this Zombie Apocalypse partly caught me off-guard. I did not expect it to be that hot when I ordered it, although already after unboxing and shaking the bottle I immediately felt reminded of The Last Dab in terms of consistency. It is a quite thick sauce and the orange colour signals at least some level of danger. So I braced myself for a treat. Still I felt being blasted away by some kind of a Da’ Bomb level heat. The first drops immediately obliterated my mouth with stinging (!) heat, without showing much taste at all. It hit hard! As I progressed through the bottle I sort of adjusted to the flame inside and it appeared to be a quite fierce sauce with some pleasant fruity flavour bits that tend to remain in the background for most of the time but add a lot of complexity. Zombie Apocalype can hit you with brute force and it will give you a “warm” hug afterwards. Lingering heat is a thing on this one! It is an uncompromising sauce that will grow on you. In the end I absolutely loved it and I will return for more when the time is right! Zombie Apocalypse bites you, but it lets you live on…undead! 😉

Man dit is lekker .. VOL van smaak
proeft duidelijk de hartigheid in de saus met n fris mandarijn tintje .. en dan komt i hoor .. de ghost pepper die ineens kiekeboe zegt HEERLIJKE burn.. vrij heftig maar wel te doen

I bought this Sauce, because of the good reviews and the “very hot” Category. I wanted a Sauce that was very hot but also tasty. What i got was neither of the former both. The Sauce had hardly any taste. I don’t know, if i was unlucky with my Bottle but my Brother was also dissappointed with the Sauce.

Usually the hotter ones last a while before I finish them however this one went fast!
