This La Pimenterie Royal Bourbon Hot Sauce can rightly be called special. Not only because of the use of the hot Chocolate Habanero peppers (which, by the way, do not taste like chocolate), but mainly because of other special ingredients. Of course bourbon is one of them, but what about dates, cocoa powder, spices from the Middle East and dried Pasilla peppers. It results in a complex, spicy flavor that tastes especially great with Middle Eastern dishes, poultry, stews and grilled meats.

I loved this bottle, and was almost sad when it was finished. Once you get through the medium heat there is a very pleasant sweetness (from the bourbon, dates,carrots,…) that tastes amazing. The more I ate, the more I liked it.

Ik zou deze onder medium hitte zetten. Had meer hitte verwacht van de chocolate habanero. Ook de bourbon haal ik er niet uit.
Smaak is verder prima.
