Hot Ones Los Calientes Rojo Hot Sauce

This Hot Ones Los Calientes Rojo Hot Sauce is the halfway hot sauce in the Hot Ones line up since season 11. That means it’s not super hot, but it is super tasty! You can really taste the smoked Jalapeno and Habanero at first, which gives the sauce a savoury and slightly smoky vibe. After that the sweetness of the apricot really shines through and combined with savoury ingredients such as garlic, onion, cumin, black pepper and thyme make this a complex hot sauce. Delicious on wings (ofcourse), burritos, eggs and so on.

Delicious sauce. Just the right amount of spicy to go well with everything.

Licht zoet met een lekker fruitige geur en smaak. Kan overal op en is niet heel heet.

Like the Barbacoa, this one is not thick. The taste is unique, but I still prefer the Barbacoa because of all the smokiness. The taste isn’t SUPER different between the two, and I wouldn’t pay 18 euros for this one too. Honestly, the flavor is nice enough that I could just drink it like some vegetable soup 😅
