Dawson’s Hot Dog Hot Sauce isn’t the most mysterious hot sauce ever. This stuff was made with one purpose in mind: to be the perfect companion for mustard and ketchup on a hot dog. Still, we think Hot Dog Doug (the happy hot dog on the label) is selling himself short. It’s deliciously savory thanks to the onion and garlic, tangy from the vinegar, medium spicy from the Habanero, and slightly sweet from the dates. This makes it more than just a hot dog sauce. I did not have a chance to try it with hot dog, but with every day food it seemed like an unremarkable sauce. I love sauces with a lot of garlic, but this one seemed a bit too much for my taste.

Goede saus, de smaak is wel redelijk goed bedacht aangezien het inderdaad vooral vrij goed bij een hotdog past.
Echter had het wel ietsje minder zoet gemogen en ook past het naar mijn idee niet zo goed bij veel andere gerechten dan hotdogs of worsten.
Geen topsaus, maar wel prima..
P.S. als je van dit merk een betere saus wil proberen, is de chipotle saus en/of hot garlic saus ERG goed. (maar die zijn op het moment van schrijven hier niet te vinden, HELAAS!!)
