Hot Ones season 27: The heat is back on
Are you a true hot sauce fan? Then Hot Ones season 27 won’t disappoint you once again! After ten years of sizzling chicken wings and burning mouths, this YouTube hit from First We Feast is back with a new season. Host Sean Evans stays ice-cold as always while his guests are literally on fire.
This season kicked off on May 22, 2025 with a surprising twist. Instead of a celebrity, real Hot Ones superfans took the hot seat. What a fantastic way to celebrate the 10-year anniversary! Since then, we’ve already seen an amazing mix of comedians and musicians come by, all struggling with the flames on their tongues.
The Sauces: From Tropical to Total Destruction
Every hot sauce lover knows it’s all about that infamous lineup of ten increasingly hotter sauces. This year there are real gems among them, with no less than 7 sauces we haven’t seen before in Hot Ones.
The first new sauce is the Hot Tropic Hot Sauce from Shaquanda’s. A fruity sauce with papaya, orange and kashmiri chili. The sauce that follows is also new to the Hot Ones lineup and that’s the Just Wingin It from Seed Ranch Flavor Co. This sauce has flavors of vinegar with smoky paprika.
Sauces four, five, six and seven on the list are also new. The fourth sauce is the Serrano Mango Hopp Sauce from Alchemy Peppers. This sauce contains flavors of mango and citrus fruits. The fifth sauce is one we don’t often see; Spicier Sauerkraut & Mustard from Hook & Arrow. And it’s exactly what the name suggests; a sauce that tastes like (and pairs perfectly with) sauerkraut & mustard.
Sauce six is a true Hot Ones sauce. For the first time, they’ve developed a sauce that appears at position six on the list. It’s the Tropical Amarillo sauce from Hot Ones. The sauce is based on Caribbean flavors with pineapple, mango and citrus. Followed by spicy curry spices.
The seventh sauce is the Aprichot from Smokin Ed’s. A sauce with flavors of apricot with lavender and lemon. And the last new sauce in the lineup is the ninth sauce. A really hot one, which comes after the legendary Da Bomb. It’s the Suckerpunch Hot Sauce from Torchbearer.
The two legendary Hot Ones sauces
The Hot Ones season isn’t complete without these two legendary sauces; Da Bomb Beyond Insanity and The Last Dab: Xperience from Hot Ones. These sauces at positions 8 and 10 are insanely hot and manage to leave every guest drenched in sweat.
