Great price for the delivered heat, flavorwise it’s alright and as stated you can mainly taste the moruga mash which itself is great, helping bringing up the food with a bit of freshness.
Texture is dense and enjoyable, great for any choice.
Not a complicated purchase at all, just a basic one.
Dopa –
Very tasty hot sauce, you really taste the reaper. Unfortunately not as hot as you’d expect it to be.
De Floppende Flipperlieper (Verifizierter Käufer) –
Lekkere saus, alleen geen mokerslag qua heetheid. Zeker niet in vergelijking met de andere sauzen in het ‚extreem heet‘ segment.

Enjoyable, spicy but very fruity forward in flavour.

We ordered a bunch of different Melinda’s sauces and this one was our favourite (tied with the Chipotle for flavour but won on versatility). The heat is reasonable – it’s spicy by any measure, but not over-the-top spicy. What really set it apart was the prominent flavour of the Trinidad Moruga peppers. Whereas the Red Savina and Ghost Pepper sauces tasted like a basic sauce base (vinegar and some vegetables and also vinegar) with some nondescript source of heat mixed in, the Trinidad Morgua peppers are really pulling their weight, yielding a sauce that’s hard to put down.

Beetje ontgoocheld. Dacht dat deze heter en smaakvoller zou zijn. Voor mij iets teveel azijn smaak. Best te classeren als de betere Tabasco versie
Marcel Van Poeijer (Verifizierter Käufer) –
Melinda’s sauces are always characterized by focus on taste and experience, not purely on spiciness. This Scorpion sauce isn’t an exception. It is lovely and hot, but the sting isn’t as fiery as expected when seeing 5/5 peppers and „hottest Melinda sauce“ on the descriptions.
I’d give the spiciness level a 7/10, you can easily pour a lot of sauce on your food without being really on fire.
I do need to call out that the Scorpion sauce is extremely tasty and really adds a lovely taste to your meals! Highly recommended to try out, especially if your not here for ‚give me pain‘, but actually enjoy your hot sauces.

Niet heel bijzonder. Heter dan andere Melinda sauzen. Niet super smaakvol verder.

Prima saus voor diverse gerechten. Flesje op het werk staan voor door de Cup a Soup
Niet echt heet .
Maar in 2 a 3 weken. Maak ik wel een flesje op.
