Dawson’s Apple Caraway Hot Sauce

Ever heard of the herb caraway? We weren’t that familiar with it either, but this herb is actually used in Dawson’s Apple Caraway Hot Sauce. The herb is very aromatic and has a nutty flavor with notes of anise and fennel. It’s not overpowering at all, as the apple and dates provide a deliciously sweet taste while the Habanero adds a fresh and fruity flavor that also packs the necessary heat. Lemon and vinegar give the finishing touch with a nice tanginess. Really delicious in typical autumn dishes and stews, but also fantastic in a summer salad or with grilled vegetables.
