Dutch hot sauce brand White Whale Sauces has made a very special hot sauce again and it’s perfectly suited for the colder months of the year. The hot sauce is made with charred apples, Madame Jeanette peppers and seasoned with the original pumpkin spice: speculaaskruiden, which are quite similar to the spices used for ginger bread. The result can be described as apple pie turned into a hot sauce. It makes this sauce not only surprisingly good with pastries (read apple pie) or ice cream, but also in stews, with mashed potatoes or grilled vegetables. We love it!
