This extraordinary Tomasu Sweet Spicy Soy Sauce from Rotterdam is the only micro brewed soy sauce in Europe, using soy beans grown in de Hoeksche Waard. With respect for centuries old Japanese & Dutch traditions it is fermented and aged for a minimum of 24 months in 25- to 50-year-old whisky barrels from Scotland. This Sweet & Spicy soy sauce is flavored with sugar (from locally harvested sugar beets), sesame seeds and Madame Jeanette peppers. With Tomasu’s soy sauce as the base the heat of the pepper is softened, but the flavor is enhanced. Without a doubt the best soy sauce you have ever had.
