At first I was skeptical, but I got convinved. Though cherry isn´t for every dish, it works with a lot. Good heat level. Interesting sauce.

Dit sausje heeft z’n naam niet gestolen: het is allerminst een ‘bomb’ op vlak van pittigheid, maar wel een heuse smaakbom. De kruidnagel/kaneel geven het een winterse toets, maar ook het fruitige is heel prominent aanwezig. Voorts doet het vooral heel zoet aan. Dit past zeker niet bij elk gerechtje, maar de saus op zich is zeker het proeven waard voor z’n smaak (niet zozeer voor z’n pit).

Awesome! Love that sauce. Very special, the cherries coming through nicely, perfect heat level that does not kill all the other flavours. Unique flavour profile but I feel like it will still work with a lot of different dishes. Definitely in my top 5 of all times!
